ANSWERING AN INCOMING CALL FROM ANY EXTENSION
If the extension is in your quick-dial list, simply hit the quick dial button that is blinking red.
If you know the extension that is ringing, dial * * EXTENSION NUMBER.
If you do not know the extension that is ringing, dial * 8 and the current ringing call will be answered.
CALL PARKING – PLACING A CALL ON HOLD
In order to PARK a call for someone else to answer from another extension, answer the incoming call, then press TRANSFER followed by 70 and TRANSFER again. The call will now be parking in the next available parking lot. You will then see the corresponding parking lot light will turn RED. The designated person can press the corresponding parking to answer the call.
You can also simply transfer the call to the designated person.
DIRECT TRANSFER TO VOICEMAIL
Answer the incoming call, then press TRANSFER followed by * EXTENSION and then TRANSFER again.
If the person is on your quick dial list, then simply press TRANSFER followed by * and their quick dial button.
FORWARDING CALLS FOR A SPECIFIC EXTENSION
Press the center MENU/OK button > go to PHONE > CALL FEATURE > ACCOUNT 1 > FORWARD ALL/BUSY/NO ANSWER > then enter the corresponding phone number to forward the calls to. Note that this will ONLY forward calls made to this extension.
TRANSFERRING A CALL
There are two types of transfers, ATTENDED & BLIND transfer.
Attended transfer– Answer the incoming call > Press any idle LINE (current call will automatically be placed on hold) > CALL the designated party, once call is initiated and the person agrees to accept the call, press TRANSFER followed by the LINE button of the held call. Call will automatically be transferred.
Blind transfer– while on the active line, press TRANSFER followed by the designated party’s extension then TRANSFER again. If you have them on your quick dial, simply press TRANSFER followed by their quick dial button.
Make the first call using Line 1, then press another idle line (line 2) and call the next person by dialing their phone number followed by SEND button, once connected, press CONFERENCE button followed by LINE 1. This will join line 1 & 2 in a conference. To bring more people, repeat the process.
CALL HOLD & RESUME
Place a call on hold by pressing the HOLD button.
To resume the call, press the corresponding blinking LINE key.
Press the MESSAGE button, it will automatically connect you to your voicemail. Enter your password and follow the instructions to check your voicemail and change your voicemail greetings.
